Anti-Gang Framework
The anti-gang framework that defines gangs and gang-membership as interventions and not “lifestyles”. It is centred around 3 pillars: surroundings, culture and economics. Under each pillar are the “control points” along the pathway, its at these points where a community’s interventions are most effective. For example, positive peer networks to bring a more constructive surrounding; or better training opportunities outside of classrooms and screens for better economic possibilities.
This framework is now being discussed within the provincial political system and is being sponsored by all 6 Mississauga MPPs including 2 cabinet ministers.

It must first be said, Audmax is not currently under contract with the Correctional Service of Canada. We held the ethnocultural program to provide Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Services, but we are currently under negotiation with the CSC to develop a DEI centric transitional housing strategy that both rehabilitates the offenders under our care, but also enahances the community’s capacity to respond to its internal challenges such as crime substances and local gangs. This project will also work with the anti-gang framework we’ve put forward with (preliminary) provincial support.
